Bachelor alum Hannah Ann Sluss just got engaged to NFL player Jake Funk this month. As she continues to celebrate she is dishing on if she knew Jake was about to pop the question. Keep reading to find out more about their time in Cabo.
Did Hannah Ann Sluss know Jake Funk was going to propose?
Hannah Ann Sluss is incredibly happy and ready to marry the love of her life. Jake Funk popped the question while they were on vacation in Cabo San Lucas. Hannah Ann went to TikTok to share all the details about whether or not she suspected a proposal was about to happen.
Hannah Ann dished on what went down. She said, “We went to Cabo because it was pretty close to Los Angeles and we stayed at the Montage there for eight days and I don’t even know where to start!”
She didn’t really know when it was going to happen but she had a good idea it would most likely be soon. Hannah Ann revealed a big clue came when Jake was in Indiana and announced he was going to see her parents who were six hours away. She just knew he was going to ask her dad for his blessing.
After spending the night with her parents he flew home to Hannah Ann in Los Angeles. She didn’t ask questions so she wouldn’t ruin any surprise he had for her.
When packing for their trip to Cabo she knew she should go prepared just in case. She said, “So, we go to Mexico and I’m like, ‘If it happens great, if not Disney World. This trip was mostly about Jake because I booked it for him just as a treat finishing the year and a birthday trip. So I wasn’t really sure but I made sure to come prepared.”
The day they got engaged
Hannah Ann shared all about their big. She revealed the early part of the day was pretty normal. They played golf. Jake told her they had reservations because the hotel had seen her TikToks and wanted to do something special for them.
Hannah Ann got dressed in a blue dress that she described as a party dress not really a wifey dress. At that point, Jake gave her an ivory dress to wear.
At this point she knew. She said, “My heart stopped I’m like, ‘Oh shoot. I’m getting engaged. I need to make sure I look good.”
She then stopped the story and said it does get better.
In her part two she explained how a photographer came up and wanted to photograph them. She felt like something was up because Jake likes to be more behind the scenes. They walked towards the beach and there were some photos taken. Then, he got down on one knee and popped the question.
Hannah Ann said everything was very special.
