Both Jimmy and Jessica now have spoken about the feelings they got at the Netflix lake party when they saw each other for the first time. But the looming question is: Does Jimmy regret choosing Chelsea Blackwell over Jessica Vestal?
Love Has Complications
Undoubtedly, Love Is Blind is an experiment that takes single people off the beaten path in hopes of discovering their “person.” While the idea is to take out some of the “noise” from dating by filtering out appearances, the pods still provide plenty of challenges. Undeniably, having people dating each other while sharing living quarters can get a bit messy. Without a doubt, that was the case with love interests Jimmy Presnell, Jessica Vestal, Chelsea Blackwell, and Trevor Sova.
Jessica Vestal Unleashes Her Fury On Jimmy Presnell
While in the Love Is Blind pods, Jimmy Presnell was dating both Jessica Vestal and Chelsea Blackwell. Additionally, Chelsea was also seeing Trevor Sova. Furthermore, Jimmy and Trevor were best buds in the house as well. But when Jimmy elected to break up with Jessica to choose Chelsea, emotions ran wild. In the heat of the moment Jessica spouts, “When you see and realize what you missed out on, you are going to choke.” Furthermore, she sticks the point by adding, “You are going to need your EpiPen to open up your airways because you are going to be in disbelief of what you missed out on.”
Jessica Vestal And Jimmy Presnell Meet
In Jessica Vestal’s interview before the new episodes of Love Is Blind on February 28 she gave fans some answers. During one episode it shows Jimmy Presnell meeting Jessica at a lake party for the first time in person. According to US Weekly, the interviewer asks how she feels after Jimmy says she was still his number one pick. Jessica says, “I’m not sure the context that that was said in, but I will say he did conduct himself well and respectfully [at] the lake party.” Jessica continues, saying she “didn’t really think anything of” the comment. Instead, Jessica clarifies, “He made it known that he felt like he made the right decision and he was excited to be marrying Chelsea. I didn’t get the thought that he was wishing it had been me.”
Additionally, the host wonders if Jimmy Presnell needed the “expected” EpiPen. Admittedly embarrassed, Jessica has explained the situation in a social media post. She says, “He told me that he had to keep an EpiPen on him at all times because he had such severe allergies [that] his airways would close if he didn’t have it.” Furthermore, Jessica elaborates, “So, it had been top of mind for a couple days. … When I was giving my breakup speech, which wasn’t planned or rehearsed, I was just heartbroken and I blacked out and the EpiPen line just fell out.”
Did Jimmy Presnell Regret Not Choosing Jessica Vestal?
After Jimmy Presnell and Jessica Vestal had their first sights, there were questions for Jimmy too. When asked if he “needed” an EpiPen after her looks were revealed, Jimmy shut it down quickly. He says, “I was excited to see her, but let’s quit making this about looks.” Additionally, he asserts that the lake party interaction didn’t bring out the “old feelings” for Jessica. Then he pushes back saying, “I think we’re blowing the comment about ‘You’re my No. 1’ out of the water just a bit. I was only level-setting with her, letting her know that the day before proposal day, she was my No. 1 going into that date. But because she made it this whole deal that I didn’t love her and I didn’t want things to work, and I already had a decision made.”
But Jimmy Presnell didn’t regret his decision about choosing Chelsea Blackwell. Instead, he believes that Jessica Vestal showed her true colors during their last two dates. Specifically, how she left their date after ten minutes the night before the decision. Additionally, then she lit into him during the conflict. That was the deciding factor along with his great three-and-a-half-hour date with Chelsea the night before.
