Dolly Parton has just given fans quite a scare in a new video where her speech was slurred, and she displayed heavy breathing. They have known that she has been battling health problems for some time. Yet, this made her followers fear the worst, and they started to wonder how much time she really had left. Dolly Parton Bails On Big Event
There has been a lot of stress in Dolly Parton’s life over the last year and a half. Her husband of sixty years, Carl Dean, passed away, and everyone was worried for her. They feared that she would die of heartbreak, and then she started struggling with her health. It caused her to postpone her Las Vegas residency in 2025, and then she had to officially cancel it in 2026. There has been a lot of concern about whether she will be okay and if she can continue.
She has looked frail and shaky when she can make it out, and now she is causing a lot of fear. However, Dolly just bailed on a very big event at Dollywood, but she made a video for her fans. In it, she is wearing wings, and it appeared that she was AI. She had this to say:
“Now, I’ve told you before, all my fans, that I’ve had a few little health issues, and sometimes, I get a little dizzy, and I get dehydrated, and I’m dehydrated. And so my Nashville doctor has kind of clipped my wings, saying you ain’t traveling this week… but I like to keep all of you in the loop, like I said I would, on everything.”
Yet, the video left fans extremely worried. They felt that she sounded out of breath, as if she was struggling to breathe or having lung issues. Additionally, some pointed out Dolly Parton’s slurred speech and felt there was more going on than she was letting on:

Can Dolly Recover?
Dolly Parton is 80, so it is hard to think that she would be the same as she was even ten years ago. She really wants to maintain a young and youthful spirit and is doing her best. However, she may need to take some more time to herself, and fans only want the best for her:
