Duff Goldman followed up his first Father’s Day as a dad of two by treating his daughter, Josephine, to a fun night out.
The Food Network star attended the premiere of Disney’s Moana at the Hollywood Bowl in California on Tuesday, July 7, and brought Josephine along as his adorable date. “Live action Moana was incredible!” he captioned a Wednesday, July 8, Instagram post. “We saw Moana’s canoe and hei-hei and even a full sized @lego Moana! We also got to see the @laphil play THE ENTIRE SCORE LIVE! AT THE @hollywoodbowl And @lin_manuel was there! And @therock!”
He added, “Thanks so much for the invite @disney, Moana was incredible! Man, Los Angeles is a magical place.”
Goldman’s post featured several photos he snapped at the event, including a selfie he and Josephine took with Moana’s boat, a pic of Josephine posing in front of a life-size Lego Moana, and photos of Dwayne Johnson and the film’s cast performing a traditional dance on stage at the Hollywood Bowl.
Fans gushed over Goldman’s father-daughter date in the post’s comments, including Lego’s official Instagram account, which wrote, “Just like Moana, you’re a true power princess!” One fan wrote, “Great seeing you and your daughter is awesome!” Another added, “Omg she’s so grown up!”
Someone else shared, “So sweet. You are such a great dad! Your kids are so lucky to have you guys for parents!” A different person posted, “I can’t believe how big she is already! what a beautiful child!” A separate commenter stated, “How Fun. So glad you were able to share this moment with your Daughter.”
The Moana premiere marks the second recent red carpet outing for Goldman and Josephine, as the pair attended the Toy Story 5 premiere last month. He shared photos from the night out via Instagram, many of which showcased Josephine’s cute Jessie costume.
Goldman shares his daughter with his wife, Johnna Colbry. Back in November 2025, he revealed via Instagram that the couple was expecting their second child. Their son, Samurai “Sam” Jack, was born on March 31.
Goldman recently celebrated Father’s Day by posting a sweet Instagram photo of himself holding both of his children. “Happy Father’s Day dads! I make lots of things but these are my masterpieces,” he captioned the June 21 post. “They’re works in progress as we all are but so far they’re doing pretty good.”
He continued, “I’ve still got a few rough edges that need sanding but I’m confident that I’ll get myself to a respectable place. And let’s be honest, I’m the sous chef in this kitchen. @johnnapgoldman is the one driving this train. I just fix things.”
