‘DWTS’ Contestant Could ‘Save’ ABC’s Bachelor Nation Franchise

- Advertisment -

Several Bachelor Nation contestants have competed on Dancing With The Stars. Fan-favorite Tyler Cameron was recently sent home from the dance competition a week after revealing he’s expecting a baby with his fiance. But some fans hope another current DWTS celebrity could be the next Bachelor. Keep reading to find out who fans think could “save” the franchise.

Bachelor Returning Ford Season 30

The Bachelor premiered nearly 25 years ago. At the time, it was one of the only dating shows on television. Many imitations have come and gone over the years. Several recent scandals, such as Chris Harrison’s shocking exit and the cancellation of Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season, sparked concern that ABC could end the entire franchise.

However, the network revealed earlier this year that The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise are returning in 2027. The flagship show usually premieres in January but multiple outlets reported that filming won’t begin until the new year, pushing back Season 30’s release date to spring or later.

ABC hasn’t even hinted at who could be the next Bachelor lead. But fans have their own ideas, including one Dancing With The Stars celebrity.

Grant Ellis was the last Bachelor. His relationship with Juliana Pasquarosa didn’t last long after the show. The Bachelor actually has a very low success rate for the lead and their final rose winner. However, fans keep tuning in anyway.

Last season’s DWTS winner, Robert Irwin, was suggested by fans as the next Bachelor, but that never happened. Season 35 contestant Ezra Frech has his share of supporters encouraging him to find love on the ABC dating show. But now a new contender has entered the picture.

“Connor could be the Bachelor. And when I’m saying Connor could be the Bachelor, I’m saying it as a fact. I’m not saying it as, like, my preference or my opinion. I’m saying it as a fact,” TikToker Torijjensen wrote online.

She continued, “He’s everything that they want. He’s everything that they need. He’s already on an ABC show. He would save The Bachelor.”

Connor Wood is a stand-up comedian with a large social media following. He’s still single at 31. DWTS fans thought they saw sparks between Connor and his pro partner, Rylee Arnold. But she’s in a relationship.

The suggestion received mixed reactions, with some still holding out hope that Connor Wood and his podcast host, Brooke Averick, were secretly in love. There are still a few weeks left until the DWTS semi-finals. The stand-up comedian would have time to do both if The Bachelor doesn’t film until January.

Share your thoughts on the idea.
