Jimmy Kimmel Calls Guillermo’s Elimination A ‘Kick In The Balls’
Jimmy Kimmel has spent the last 23 years using Guillermo Rodriguez as the butt of all his jokes on late-night television. However, the talk show host has also been his sidekick’s biggest supporter during his DWTS run. In fact, Jimmy Kimmel was more heartbroken than both Guillermo and Witney that they were eliminated.
As he has throughout Season 35, he interviewed the two after Tuesday’s show. Guillermo and Witney had just been eliminated after surviving five weeks of low scores. “Once again, Guillermo’s in the bottom two. And once again, he relied on you, the viewers, to pull him through,” Jimmy Kimmel told viewers.
He added that the elimination was a “kick in the balls” to Guillermo. Jimmy Kimmel then asked an important question. “First of all, this is an outrage. Will you accept the results or will you take legal action?”
Guillermo joked that he thought they should take legal action. Witney Carson chimed in that she was “ready” to do it. But the pro dancer is five months pregnant and probably welcomed the elimination.

Witney Carson and Guillermo’s partnership was first announced in August, a month before the show premiered. She also revealed her pregnancy news at the same time. A lot of viewers expected Jimmy Kimmel’s sidekick to go home in Week 1.
But Guillermo and Witney were pushed through for weeks despite landing at the bottom of the leaderboard each week. Their time was finally up during Week 5 when they were sent home over Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess. Guillermo and Witney remaining in the competition started to get on the nerves of his competitors, sparking a feud with Jackson Olson.
Witney and Guillermo formed a close bond during their time together on DWTS. She took to Instagram to reveal that she was backstage when Guillermo returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! The pro dancer shared the heartwarming and expensive gift her partner gave her.
“Gift from Guillermo and fam why is he the sweetest!” she wrote on a photo of a blue Dior purse. Witney Carson is expecting a baby boy in just a few months. Maybe she’ll honor her DWTS partner by naming her son after him.
