Julianne Hough Has Kept Her Love Life Private
When Julianne Hough first burst onto the DWTS scene, she was somewhat public about her romantic life. She was dating Chuck Wicks for a year, and the two even competed together on the hit reality dancing competition. Julianne then moved on with Ryan Seacrest, and the two dated for three years, which is typical for his relationships. A year after she and Ryan split, Julianne began dating Brooks Laich. They were married for three years before they filed for divorce, and since that was finalized in early 2022, she has been very quiet about her relationship status.
Yet, there were rumors that she and BIP star Tanner Courtad had been romancing each other. So, was that true or all fabricated? It did happen, as Tanner confirmed, but it did not last very long. He appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, where he detailed more of what happened:
“I was going to Dancing with the Stars to support Joey (Graziadei), and I was sitting in the front row, and [pro dancer Ezra Sosa] came over to me, and he goes, ‘Hey, our host thinks you’re cute. Can I give you her number?’”
Justin Glaze happened to be there, so Tanner assumed he was being pranked by his friends. However, he saw that it was true and ended up meeting the DWTS host out in the parking lot. They chatted and ultimately decided to meet up for a date.
Julianne Hough and Tanner “went to the park with her dog, got some sushi, [and] hung out for the night.” He made it clear that it was just one date and the paparazzi did spot them. That could have been where things went wrong.

Aside from the DWTS host, Tanner Courtad was also linked to Brittany Cartwright from The Valley fame. However, he had no idea who she was when he first met her, although she was single, as she had split from Jax Taylor:
“Brittany’s great. When I first moved out to L.A., I knew nothing about reality TV. I never watched Vanderpump Rules. I went to the sports bar. It was called Jax’s. I met this owner named Brittany.”
