Ever since their engagement in 2023, fans have been wondering when Dancing With The Stars alum Sharna Burgess would be officially getting married to her fiancé, Brian Austin Green. Now, she’s finally sharing some details on where they are with their big day. Keep reading to learn more.
Sharna Burgess’ Relationship
DWTS alum Sharna Burgess met her now-fiancé all the way back in 2022. Since then, the couple has had several exciting experiences, including welcoming their son into the world in 2022. In their time together, the pair also danced on DWTS and then later ended up getting engaged in 2023. Since that big announcement, fans have been waiting for the wedding updates.
However, as previously reported, wedding updates have been incredibly slow. In fact, back in 2024, Sharna revealed that the actual ceremony wasn’t even really on her mind. She was just happy to have a ring.
“Life with a toddler is pretty intense and life these next two years is so busy and jam-packed for us that it’s like, this is hard. So we’re looking at probably after that,” she says at the time.
Now, she’s talking about it again. However, unfortunately, her details don’t make it seem like much has changed.
Has Anything Changed With The DWTS Couple?
According to Yahoo!, Sharna is once more talking about her future wedding ceremony. She did accidentally confuse fans though on a recent trip to Iceland. Apparently, when she posted something online, fans immediately got the vibe that she was getting married there.
“We’re over there. It’s my birthday and Father’s Day landed on the same day this year and it’s just dreamy,” she shares. “The grounds look like something out of a fairy tale. I was like, ‘Baby, this is the best wedding location ever,’ and he said, ‘Yes it is.’”
Because of that, she shared a picture and captioned it “Wedding location found 🥰🤩.”
It’s easy to see why this caused some confusion. However, at this point, an overseas wedding is just a rumor.
“If at some point we could swing that, then sure, let’s go get married at a damn manor,” she says. “[But] we haven’t booked a damn manor for our wedding. … Suddenly the whole internet thinks I booked a wedding.”
Apparently, it wasn’t only fans that thought that she was getting married there. Even her aunt gave her a call.
“My auntie in Australia left me a voice note and she was like, ‘Sharna, it’s a bit far for all of us to travel,’” she explains. “We have not yet booked a location for our wedding. We have so much going on.”
When Will They Get Married?
For any fans who are anxiously awaiting their big day, they will have to wait even longer. Apparently, not much has changed with the timing and Sharna still isn’t rushing to the alter. In fact, she says that she’s ready for another baby.
“It’s not that wildly important to me at this point,” she says abot the wedding. “I want another baby. There’s so much going on in the next 18 months.”
