‘Found’ Season 2 Trailer Teases Gabi’s Confession to Trent About Sir — Plus Premiere Photos

TV Shows

“Hello, Gabrielle. Been a long time without a chain between us. How does it feel to be free in the open and yet still connected?” Those chilling words from Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) to Gabi (Shanola Hampton) come in the new Found Season 2 trailer, and we cannot wait to see what their interactions are like with him free.

He also has taken Lacey (Gabrielle Walsh) again—he had kidnapped her when she was a child along with Gabi—and Gabi blames herself. “This is my fault. He took my sister as payback for what I have been doing for the last nine months,” Gabi tells Trent (Brett Dalton), who asks, “What did you do?” He was the only one not present when she confessed about keeping Sir in the basement in the Season 1 finale, so now it’s his turn to find out.

Gabi hopes that a new case can draw Sir’s attention, something that not everyone is happy to hear, and it’s not going to be easy to get Lacey back. Sir’s focused on the cases when it comes to talking to Gabi, and he refuses to let go of seeing them as partners who are drawn back to each other.

In Season 2, “Sir is determined to punish Gabi for ending their ‘arrangement,’” showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll told us. Their battle for power “is taken up a notch. They’re in a bigger playground, so anything is possible—for both Gabi and for Sir.” And Lacey may be facing “her real-life monster,” Walsh said, but added, “she’s not a little girl anymore.”
