Frank Fritz made a surprise appearance on the newest episode of American Pickers. This comes a year after Frank suffered a stroke and two years since the show fired him as its co-host. It was a nice moment for fans, though, to see him back on the air.

Frank Fritz made a shocking reappearance on the most recent episode of American Pickers. The episode was “Waves and Wheels” and it aired on The History Channel on August 30. It featured Frank and Mike Wolfe together in old never-before-seen clips. While these were not new clips of Frank, that wasn’t possible anyway. He is still recovering from the severe stroke he suffered last season.
However, this is still big news for both American Pickers fans and fans of Frank. The former co-host hasn’t appeared on an episode since March 2020. He ended up checking himself into rehab around that time to get cleaned up. The show then fired him in 2021. He suffered a major stroke, leaving one-half of his body paralyzed in 2022. This was the first chance to see him back on the show after all that time.
Frank and Mike were high school friends who had grown up together. However, thanks to Frank’s addiction issues, his time on the show started to fracture that friendship. After American Pickers fired Frank, Mike replaced him with his own brother. However, recent reports indicate that Frank wasn’t as bothered by leaving the show as fans were. A source said Frank was ready for a break.
The new clips from this episode showed how much fun the duo had together. The footage showed Frank and Mike traveling across the country, exploring junkyards and antique collections. There was a lot of laughing and joy and fans now want to see them back together once and for all (via U.S. Sun).
Could Frank Fritz officially return to American Pickers?
There is news that Frank Fritz might be in talks to return to American Pickers once he recovers from his stroke. The same source who said Frank needed a break said that he is still friends with Mike and the crew of the show. The source said they come to visit him and they often laugh and enjoy each other’s company.
Frank is now watching episodes of American Pickers and is talking about possibly returning to the show. The source said it is really up to Frank to pursue this and it will all depend on his recovery from the stroke and what he feels he is able to do once he regains his strength.
