On Monday, August 17, the trial will resume after a break on Friday, August 14, and over the weekend. It will resume at Plymouth Superior Court in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where the prosecution is expected to rest its case.
Lindsay, 36, is charged with three first-degree murder counts in the January 2023 deaths of her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months. Her husband, Patrick Clancy, 38, allegedly found the kids strangled with exercise bands in their Duxbury, Massachusetts, home, after returning from running errands. Nancy, meanwhile, had allegedly cut her wrists and throat, and jumped out of a second-story window, paralyzing her from the waist down.
Although Lindsay’s defense attorneys do not dispute that she killed her children, they argue that she is not criminally responsible because she suffered from severe postpartum psychosis and depression.
