Cameron Mathison was married to Vanessa Mathison for 22 years. They announced their separation in July 2024. The split was amicable, unlike his co-star Steve Burton’s messy divorce. When Cameron Mathison’s Los Angeles home burned down in the California wildfires in early 2025, he temporarily moved in with his estranged wife.
He opened up to Jennie Garth in a podcast interview in September about the difficult decision to end his marriage. “It was a tricky time when we separated and there a lot of specific conditions that made it really tough,” he said.
However, the GH star said there was nothing but love between them. “We were there for each other and cried and talked and hugged,” Cameron Mathison said about how she helped him deal with the loss of their former home.
