Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner only has three hometown dates, why?
TVLine shared the scoop on why Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner only got to take three women on hometown dates. One of the executives for the show explained the reasoning behind cutting one hometown out.
As it turns out, the only reason Gerry was only allowed three hometown dates is because of time. Robert Mills said, “The worst part of this was the ladies thought there were 4 hometowns and due to the 1 hour format we could only do 3.”
When Jesse Palmer announced that only three of the ladies get hometown dates, everyone was shocked. So, Gerry was forced to send home three of the ladies. He sent home Ellen, Sandra and Susan.
Many fans were shocked to see Ellen go since they felt she was a top contender for his heart. Of course, there were others who really thought Susan was a great match for Gerry as well.
So, next week, fans will see Gerry go on three hometown dates. Those dates are with Theresa, Faith and Leslie.
Will Gerry get along with all of the families? Fans will have to tune in and find out.
