Golden Bachelor producers weighed in on Golden Bachelorette
US Weekly shared everything that is known about a spinoff. After the major success of The Golden Bachelor, fans can’t wait to find out if a Golden Bachelorette is on the horizon.
Producer Jason Ehrlich said, “People are really liking the stories that we’re telling, and so I’m really interested to see. It will be different; it will be almost like doing it for the first time all over again with The Golden Bachelorette. What is it going to be like with 20-some older men living in the Bachelor Mansion? We don’t know, but I’m pretty sure it will be different and interesting. And that’s what makes me want to watch.”
As for Gerry Turner, he said there is no way he could single out one particular woman for the role. The 22 women he met were all wonderful.
Of course, host Jesse Palmer would absolutely love to see them cast a Golden Bachelorette. While he can’t speak on behalf of the executives who make that call, he believes America would love to see it happen. Plus so many women are deserving of this coveted role.
Others have weighed in too
Several of the ladies who appeared on The Golden Bachelor have tossed their names into the ring of potential first leads for the show. One is Faith Martin. She was sent home broken hearted after hometown dates. However, she believes finding love is possible and would consider the role if offered.
Another lady who would jump at the chance is Joan Vassos. She left the show early due a family emergency which turned out to be her daughter suffering from postpartum depression. However, Joan said she believes in the process and sees that it can work.
Kathy Swarts would also love the chance. She said, “I don’t think they could find 22 guys who could keep up with me, so there’s that. But who wouldn’t want to be? I mean, the chance to find love, the chance to meet great people. Who wouldn’t want that?”
Even Cary Fetman who is the stylist for the franchise is on board. She would love the opportunity to style contestants on The Golden Bachelorette.
