Hallmark’s Merry Thanksgiving Weekend includes the road trip Christmas movie Holiday Road. This Countdown To Christmas movie stars Sara Canning and Warren Christie. This is a movie about nine holiday travelers whose flight is canceled due to bad weather. They band together to get home for the holidays. According to the synopsis, it is the holidays. Travelers are ready to head home for food, family, and perhaps some frustration. However, a flight headed to Denver has been canceled due to the weather. Worse yet, the other flights are full, and stranded travelers cannot get home in time to get home for Christmas. Now, it is time to find ground transportation. They don’t want to sleep on the dirty airport floor for the next week.
There is one large passenger van left at the rental counter, but tech entrepreneur Clay has rented it all for himself. Seems that this is Grinchy behavior, and he is called on it by travel writer Dana. She thinks that he can share this vehicle with her and seven other people who all need to get home to Denver for Christmas.
Once they all get into the van, things start to change. People stop thinking only of themselves and instead start to interact with each other. Soon, this becomes an “ad hoc family,” as their wrong turns and misadventures help them grow closer to each other. They learn that family is more than blood relations. They learn that friendship and unexpected connections are how we create a true family.

When will fans get to see the new Hallmark Christmas road trip movie Holiday Road? The premiere is on Friday, November 24, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.
In addition, Holiday Road will be available to stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.

Hallmark is headed to their biggest week of the year. This is called A Merry Thanksgiving Christmas. It kicks off with Catch Me If You Claus starring Luke Macfarlane and Italia Ricci. This movie premieres on Thanksgiving night. The final of the seven movies this holiday weekend is A Biltmore Christmas starring Bethany Joy Lenz and Kristoffer Polaha. This premieres on Sunday, November 26, at 8 p.m., Eastern.
