Hallmark star Nikki DeLoach was desperate to get on Dancing with the Stars, and she has no shame in sharing this. Unfortunately, the multi-talented performer failed in her attempt, but she has immense support, who have stated that it is their “loss.”Keep reading for more details on how she tried to get on DWTS.

Nikki DeLoach Wanted To Give DWTS A Go

It can be a dream for celebrities, reality stars, and influencers to take a shot on DWTS. That was the goal for Hallmark star Nikki DeLoach. Now, she has a lot of experience, as she was on The All New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1995. That included singing, dancing, and some acting. Then, she moved on to various acting gigs before settling at Hallmark as a staple and fan favorite. Despite thriving on the network, she also has other aspirations.

The mother of two would love to be on Dancing with the Stars. It seems that the forty-seven-year-old even tried to get on the show and sent in a video to make her dreams a reality. She even claimed that it was the best tape ever, so she is stunned that she never heard back:

“I sent in an audition tape. The best audition tape you have ever seen. I’m not joking. I don’t talk about myself like this. It was phenomenal. I have never been more surprised at not getting a job in my life, ever in my life. So you know what, Dancing With the Stars, your loss.”

Nikki DeLoach shared this at the Dance Party to End ALZ, which was held on Sunday, September 13th. That was just two days before the Season 35 premiere of the series, but her friends believe it’s not over. Ashley Williams, who is also a Hallmark favorite, thinks that DWTS will see the error of its ways:

“You know what? This isn’t over. This isn’t Dancing with the Stars’ only season. Y’all are gonna come crawling back, and we’re gonna enjoy every second of it. And the answer will be yes.”

Friendly Support

Nikki DeLoach does not just have Ashley Williams’ support to go on DWTS; she has another Hallmark co-star on her side. Andrew Walker believes that she would kill it if given the chance. However, Happy’s Place star Melissa Peterman would love to see Walker up there, shaking it:

“He’s got charisma. I think he’s got moves. There’s swagger there.”

It looks like the Hallmark Channel could have its very own version of the show, which would be great for the network. For now, Nikki DeLoach remains hopeful that she will get the call at some point down the line.
