Glee‘s Dianna Agron and The Princess Bride star Cary Elwes are among a group of seven new actors joining the Industry Season 5 cast. The new faces were announced on Industry‘s Instagram account on August 17 in a post captioned, “One final batch of new hires.” The first new star announced for the fifth and final season was Zosia Mamet. The final season is filming now in the United Kingdom.
In addition to Agron, Elwes, the newcomers to the Industry Season 5 cast are Black Doves‘ Sam Riley, Downton Abbey‘s Jessica Brown Findlay, Marty Supreme‘s Luke Manley, The Vampire Lestat‘s Bally Gill, and Eduard Poliakov.
Elwes plays Padgett Stillman, an investor, according to Variety. Agron plays Skip Binksy, a wellness tech company CFO. Riley plays Solomon Kerr, “an elusive British businessman who made his fortune in Silicon Valley.”
Brown Findlay plays a family friend of Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) Marina St. Clair. Manley plays Stevie Delmonte, an execution trader. Gill will play Nikesh Shah, “a charismatic left-wing politician.” And Poliakov plays Olexij Kovalchuk, a trader.
Returning cast members are stars Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harington, and Miriam Petche. Mamet plays Carmen Dame, a fitness influencer turned wellness tech founder and CEO. Filming began on the eight-episode final season in early August.
The Industry Season 4 cast included Ken Leung, Sagar Radia, Kiernan Shipka, Max Minghella, Charlie Heaton, Toheeb Jimoh, Amy James-Kelly, Roger Barclay, Andrew Havill, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft.
Leung and Radia, both stars since Season 1, exited the series in Season 4.
Industry is created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay. The series was renewed for a fifth and final season in February 2026, just before the Season 4 finale aired on HBO.
