Just weeks after celebrating their twin sons’ 16th birthday, Jenny and Dave Marrs commemorated another special occasion while on a family trip abroad.
Jenny took to Instagram on Thursday, June 11, to wish the couple’s youngest son, Luke, a Happy 7th Birthday. “Seven years ago, our family was forever changed by a little bundle of sunshine who has grown up way too fast for my heart to handle. He truly was the missing piece we didn’t even realize our family needed,” she wrote. “Luke, the fact that God gifted me with the pure joy-filled honor of being your momma is just too great for my mind to even comprehend. You’ll forever have my heart and always be my baby boy!”
She concluded her post by writing, “Happiest of birthdays to you, my Lukey Bear!!” Jenny’s upload featured a fun boomerang video of Luke blowing into a pair of party horns.
Fans flooded the post’s comments with their own birthday wishes for Luke, with one user writing, “Happy Birthday Luke; wishing you a blessed day.” Another added, “Happy Birthday Luke! Have a wonderful celebration with your family!” Someone else gushed, “Luke has some real talent! Happy Birthday Luke, wishing your special day is all you hoped for.”
Dave, for his part, celebrated Luke’s birthday by sharing several photos of him from over the years via Instagram. “OK, so I’m late, but I wanted to take a minute and wish this little guy a happy seventh birthday,” he captioned his birthday tribute. “What a blessing Luke Marrs has been to our lives. He is everything we never knew we needed. Willing to jump on a tractor with his dad, go dumpster diving, work in the shop, and give a thumbs up the entire time. I love you buddy.”
In the comments, one person shared, “Happy Birthday Luke. It’s been fun watching you grow.” A different user posted, “Happy Birthday Luke!!! You are an amazing guy! Hope your birthday was awesome!!” A separate commenter stated, “Luke is precious. Happpppppy birthday.”
Jenny and Dave share five children, including their twins, Nathan and Ben, and daughters, Sylvie and Charlotte. Luke’s 7th birthday coincided with the family’s international vacation, which began with a stay at the Pairi Daiza zoo in Belgium before they traveled to Normandy, France, to commemorate the anniversary of D-Day.
Jenny offered several glimpses into Luke’s birthday celebrations in France in a series of Instagram Story posts on Thursday, which included pics and clips from his birthday dinner. The family and the restaurant’s staff joined forces to sing “Happy Birthday” to Luke. “It was wonderful,” Jenny could be heard saying in the background of one clip.

In a Friday, June 12, Instagram post, Jenny gushed about the family’s experience staying at their friend Cat Bude’s home. “I couldn’t get over the fact that it felt like we were walking inside a movie scene – everything was just so charming,” Jenny wrote alongside photos of the picturesque residence.
She added, “We may not all live on a farm in the countryside of Normandy, but we all have beauty around us. Maybe we just need to invite new friends over to point it out to us a little more often.”
