After touring more of the country’s homes, Retta will check out a new group of spooky homes in need of a major makeover.
Retta will return to host Season 3 of Scariest House in America this fall. “Attracting over 10.9 million viewers across linear and streaming to her sophomore run, the actress, comedian, and home design enthusiast will brave 20 tours of petrifyingly paranormal or horrifically hideous houses whose owners say are haunted by scary stories and hair-raising sights,” the season’s description states.
Similar to the show’s predecessor, Ugliest House in America, the series follows Retta as she tours unique — and possibly haunted — homes to determine which is the scariest of them all. The lucky winner receives a home transformation from HGTV‘s Alison Victoria, who will also return for Season 3.
The show returns shortly after Ugliest House in America debuted its eighth season on July 20. The season saw Retta view “20 more preposterous properties, sharing her hilarious hot takes on their shockingly bad designs, cringe-worthy layouts and grossly outdated styles,” per its description.
