On Good Morning America on Tuesday morning, Jamie Lynn made an appearance and confirmed that she’s joined the DWTS cast. Her new dance partner is pro Alan Bersten.
The duo revealed that they’ve already begun rehearsing and are doing well so far. They seem to be enjoying working together and getting to know each other.

On GMA, Jamie Lynn revealed her big plans for her DWTS salary. She will be donating the money she earns to the WGA amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. She said, “While everybody else in my community is on strike, I have this unique opportunity where I was offered a chance to work when my community cannot work. So I figured I’ll do this and I will donate my weekly salary… to just give back to them at a time where they can’t give back to themselves.”
When will the remaining cast members be announced?
On Wednesday, September 13, fans will finally learn who else will be gracing the stage during the upcoming season. So, keep an eye out for the huge announcement.
This season will see a few changes. Rather than airing on Monday nights, the show will be on Tuesdays. After Tyra Banks moved on to other projects, Julianne Hough will be taking her place as co-host.
