Recently, while taking part in the annual Lake Tahoe celebrity golf tournament, Kelce made one 16-year-old fan’s day. The retired NFL star invited the young man, Andrew Bogetti, to hit a ball with him at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort.
According to People, Bogetti could be heard telling Kelce, “Hey, that was awesome. Thank you again.” For his part, after asking the teen about his own golf aspirations, Kelce wished him good luck, sharing, “Best of luck, man.”

Speaking with the outlet, Bogetti shared that Kelce went above and beyond to make the moment a memorable one. He shared, “I brought my clubs….I just asked him to sign my sports card holder and I asked him for a long drive and he was down to do it.”
Bogetti admitted that he got nervous during the moment, sharing, “I had the nerves going, I was shaking a little.” However, he called Kelce “awesome,” sharing that he had been a fan of his for a while. He continued, “I remember watching him when I was a little kid. It was awesome watching him win the Super Bowl.”
On Instagram, the Kelce brothers also shared a video of Jason playing with Andrew. As a caption read, “While asking for an autograph, High School student, Andrew Bogetti, challenged Jason Kelce to a long drive competition at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe today. Jason accepted the challenge. Andrew crushed a 324-yard drive – seriously impressive for anyone, let alone a high schooler, and nearly outdrove Jason at 334 yards.”
Jason previously made headlines at the event as it was where he made his first public comments about his brother Travis Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift. As shared by The New York Post, he revealed, “It was a good time,” calling the wedding “great” after a fan asked. Kylie Kelce was also with her spouse at the tournament. According to People, she also described the wedding as “incredible.”
