Harvey Silikovitz shared a photo on Instagram of himself, Stella Trout, Jonathan Hugendubler, his wife, and Will Yancey, all sitting around a table for trivia night on August 14. “Happy Friday! Last night I played pub trivia with a couple of my fellow competitors from the most recent @jeopardy Champions Wildcard tournament (CWC), @stellatr18 (Stella Trout) and @thehugendubler (Jonathan Hugendubler); Jonathan’s wife, Kate (@unachiquitita) and @dr.yancey (Will Yancey), a finalist in the prior season’s CWC. We played under the team name ‘Jon & Kate Plus 3,’” he captioned the post.
“The venue was the bar @theironbearaustin in Stella’s home city of Austin, Texas. (Jonathan and Kate flew in from Baltimore for a few days; Will drove up from a more southerly part of the Lone Star State, near the border.)”
“And we won! It was fun just to play with my awesome teammates, and to hang out with them this week; all of us have become friends, and we look forward to meeting up again in the future. The friendships I’ve formed with Stella, Jonathan, Kate, Will, and others are one of the greatest gifts that have come out of my appearing on J!” Silikovitz continued.
“But eking out the “W” against some formidable competitor made last night even more satisfying! And everyone on the team contributed, and every correct answer mattered, because our margin of victory was 1 point! And after falling to Stella in the semifinals of the CWC, it was great to have her on my side! #jeopardy #championswildcardtournament #geekswhodrinktrivia,” the attorney ended.
Silikovitz won $23,500 in one game in March 2025, but was so loved that they brought him back for this tournament. Stella Trout won the tournament after one win in June. Trout advanced to the Tournament of Champions. Her answer was deemed incorrect, but was right, so she was invited back for the 2027 tournament.
Jonathan Hugendubler, an adjunct professor and trivia host from Baltimore, Maryland, won a total of two games and $63,601. Yancey lost his initial game in September 2024. He got to come back for Second Chance, Champions Wildcard, and the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament, winning $82,000 in total. Yancey and Hugendubler also posted about the trivia game on their Instagrams.
