Six Jeopardy! greats are back to battle it out for the title of Masters champion. In an exclusive Season 4 clip, see the contestants be shocked by their response, be moved to tears, and battle it out in a “crazy” competition.
“Some say the pen is mightier than the sword,” host Ken Jennings said, standing behind his podium. “But have they considered this?” He stuck his hand out and pressed the buzzer that contestants use on the game show.
The clip then shows three contestants correctly shouting out responses. Victoria Groce said, “What is Call My Maybe?” Andrew He responded, “What is Ferrari?” Yogesh Raut‘s response was, “What is Vanderpump Rules?” When he was deemed correct, Raut turned to his opponent and went “ha!”
In the next clip, Juveria Zaheer appears to be tearing up as she says “There’s no crying in Jeopardy!”
“Six Jeopardy! great battle it out for $500,000,” Jennings said in a voice-over, “And the title of Jeopardy! Masters champion.” Long Nguyen then shouted out, “Oh my God!” when he appeared to get a Daily Double correct.
“I’ve got the chance to win it all,” Andrew He said. “It’s crazy!”
“Wow. I’ve forgotten how good this feels,” Jennings said at the end of the clip while pressing the buzzer.
The six contestants mentioned above will battle it out, beginning August 25. The episodes will then air weekly from Tuesday through Friday until September 4. The finale will take place on Tuesday, September 8. All of the episodes will air at 8/7c on ABC and stream the next day on Hulu.
Aside from the glory and the title of Jeopardy! Masters champion, the winner of the season receives $500,000 and the Alex Trebek Trophy. The show also donates $100,000 to the charity of their choice.
The other four competitors have tough competition to follow because both Groce and Raut have won previous seasons of Masters. James Holzhauer won Season 1. But they do have fewer people to compete against, as there have been nine in previous seasons.
Zaheer was a finalist in last season’s tournament. Pasco won the 2026 Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions. He was the winner of the 2026 Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament, and Nguyen was the runner-up.
