O’Connell is an actor and television personality, having started his career in the 1980s as a child actor. In his personal life, he married actress and former model Rebecca Romijn in 2007, sharing two daughters together, twins Charlie and Dolly.
Recently, O’Connell could be seen on the red carpet for the premiere of his film Summer’s Last Resort. However, what made the moment all the more memorable was that the actor’s family was right there with him.
Both of his two daughters, now 17, could be seen alongside him. Charlie was seen wearing a long-sleeve khaki green dress while her twin wore a white halter dress. They both were in high spirits alongside their father, who was wearing a white shirt, blue flannel, and beige pants.

O’Connell shared the family photo on his Instagram account. As he wrote in a simple caption, “Summer’s Last Resort ( @tubi 7/3) screening w/ these two…” The film revolves around a high-strung teacher who goes on vacation with her mother and her boyfriend, who is also her vice-principal, all the while scheming to break them up. In addition to O’Connell, Clara Alexandrova and Sophia Bush also appear in the film. The film was released on July 3, 2026.
With O’Connell sharing the moment on social media, many fans noticed one thing in particular. There was a strong family resemblance between Charlie and Dolly with their parents.
The two sisters are fraternal twins and look quite different from each other. However, many felt that each resembled one of their famous parents. While many comments reflected this, others just wanted to take note of seeing the family out and about and wished them well. Some comments included:
