Fox News’ Jesse Watters Discussed A Recent Rally On The Five
Watters is known for a number of roles with Fox News over the years. Originally appearing on The O’Reilly Factor, he became known for his “Watters’ World” segment.
Following this, Watters became the host of his own namesake series, Jesse Watters Primetime. He is also known for his role as a co-host on The Five.

During a recent episode of The Five, Watters reported on segment Abdul El-Sayed’s recent denouncement of the Muslim Brotherhood during an exchange with a voter. At a rally, a young man asked El-Sayed if he would disavow the group, with the politician answering, “Sure. Yeah, absolutely. Why are you asking the question?”
When told it was a terrorist group, El-Sayed asked, “But what are you implying? Do you assume that I wouldn’t?” The voter then claimed that he hadn’t previously heard him disavow the group.
During The Five, Watters expressed, “And so for us to all of a sudden not go after this guy because he’s Muslim? Why would we do that? Because AOC is going to call us racists?” This was believed to be referring to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
A Few Commenters Were Concerned With Watters’ Wording
Watters continued, “We’re not going to get scared out of examining a guy just because he’s Muslim. We’re not afraid of being called racist. We’ve been called a lot worse.”
Since Watters’ comments on the show, a few commenters have shared their reaction to the statement. Some agreed with Watters’ principles.

On the other hand, quite a few were concerned with what Watters meant by being called things “worse” than a racist. Some comments included:
- “Pray tell, what’s worse than being racist, outside of a pedophile???”
- “He’s so stupid he thinks being called a Racist or worse is a compliment.”
- “Please tell us about the worst.”
- “It’s been a while since anyone expected you to have any self-awareness, now it’s mostly said for other people’s benefit.”
- “I can only think of one or two examples of something worse than being racist.”
- “Are you speaking for just yourself? Are you speaking for others? Who are you speaking for exactly?”
- “The issue isn’t the label. It’s whether racist words & actions should be dismissed instead of challenged.”
