As Maher shared, “I think all these recent elections have been about the Democrats are crazy on social issues; people don’t like that. Trump’s crazy, but the economy’s better — but he doesn’t have the economy anymore.”
Maher Initially Thought That Tarlov Was Being Sarcastic During Her Initial Share
Tarlov added, “And we’re less crazy.” When Maher asked for clarification on who “we” was, she continued, “Democrats. You haven’t noticed?”
This comment ended up shocking Maher, who replied, “What?! Have you seen the Democratic…,” adding that he thought Tarlov was being sarcastic. Realizing otherwise, he continued, “You think we’re less crazy?” For her part, Tarlov expressed, “Maybe not inside, but we’re at least when we go out and give a speech talking about the economy and corruption…”
