Jimmy Kimmel Live! has announced the summer 2026 guest hosts who will step in for Jimmy Kimmel during his annual summer break from the late-night talk show.
Kimmel’s break will begin on Monday, July 6, with comedian/actor Tiffany Haddish taking on the host mantle first. She’ll be followed throughout the summer by Anthony Anderson, Ike Barinholtz, Colman Domingo, and Jelly Roll. The talk show shared a promo video announcing the new guest hosts on June 18. Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC, with next-day streaming available on Hulu. Kimmel’s last new episode before his summer vacation will be Thursday, June 18, after which the late-night show will go into reruns until after the Fourth of July holiday. Haddish will host for the full week of July 6, and then Anderson will take over after that. Anderson has already served as guest host on 24 episodes.
Anderson and Barinholtz are both frequent guests on Kimmel. Haddish, Anderson, and Jelly Roll are repeat guest hosts, but Barinholtz and Domingo are making their guest host debuts this summer. Domingo will host the week of July 20.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! started having guest hosts in 2020. In the time since, guest hosts have included Martin Short, RuPaul, Chelsea Handler, Kumail Nanjiani, RuPaul, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Diego Luna, Nicole Byer, Alan Cumming, Chris Distefano, and Fortune Feimster. Kristen Bell served as a guest host in 2017 when Kimmel was on paternity leave.
