What To Know

  • Jimmy Kimmel has a theory on why Donald Trump was examined by 22 medical specialists.
  • The host also highlighted Trump’s upcoming ‘MMA-themed’ 80th birthday celebration.
  • Kimmel said the UFC White House event has a sponsor which is the perfect metaphor for the Trump administration.

Jimmy Kimmel shared his thoughts on Donald Trump‘s latest health checkup on Thursday night (June 11), including his theory on why 22 medical specialists examined the president.

“On Sunday, Donald ‘Jiggle Jugs’ Trump will turn 80 years old,” the late-night host said on Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! “And what do you get for the man who steals everything? Not only is Donald Trump expected to be our oldest president, he is our healthiest president, at least according to the doctors he ordered to say that.”

Kimmel highlighted a recent Washington Post report that claimed that at Trump’s latest health checkup, he was seen by 22 specialists. “Two who examined him, and 20 who wanted to know what he looked like naked,” the comedian quipped. “They’re like, ‘get in here! You gotta see this!’”

“Twenty-two specialists! That’s not a medical team. That’s a soccer team,” Kimmel added.

The host pointed out how Trump wants to be in “tippy-top shape” for his big 80th birthday celebrations this weekend, which includes a UFC event on the White House lawn. “Right now, there is a 46 percent chance of rain in Washington on Sunday,” Kimmel said. “The UFC CEO, Dana White, said the fight will go on even if lightning strikes.”

“If God wanted the White House to be struck by lightning, that would have happened 18 months ago, so I think they’re pretty safe,” he joked.

Kimmel then turned his attention to the renovations underway at the White House and in the surrounding areas in preparation for the big event, including a UFC Octagon on the South Lawn. “It has eight sides, one for each year of our lives the president has ruined,” he said.

The UFC event is sponsored by Monster Energy drink, which Kimmel said is the perfect metaphor for this administration. “One of the Monster Energy flavors is Mango Loco, which would also be a great nickname for the president,” he added.
