Chris Hughes made it to the finals on Season 3 of Love Island in 2017. However, the romance fizzled. He also joined Big Brother and immediately struck up a friendship with JoJo Siwa. She was in a relationship at the time, after coming out as a lesbian. However, her feelings of friendship for Chris Hughes turned romantic, causing her to realize that her sexuality was more fluid.
