On Tuesday, September 12, Jill released her new book, Counting the Cost. It exposes many shocking details about her famous family and their TLC shows. So far, fans are absolutely loving the book. They’re heartbroken for Jill due to all of the hard moments she had to go through. But they are proud of her for using her voice and sharing her story.

Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth breaks her silence about the memoir.

On her YouTube channel on Friday, Joy-Anna published a new video, featuring a Q&A session her family filmed while they were camping. They sat outside in their chairs and took the time to answer their most-asked questions from fans. The video began with just Austin and Joy-Anna responding. Later, three-year-old Evelyn and five-year-old Gideon joined in the fun.

Of course, fans asked about Jill’s book and wanted to know whether Joy-Anna and Austin would be reading it. One fan wrote, “Are you going to read Jill’s book?”

In response, Joy-Anna stated, “I will read Jill’s book.” Austin added, “Yeah, we’ll read Jill’s book.”

Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth continued, “I read Jinger’s book, I’ll read Jill’s book.”

Austin then asked viewers, “If your family member wrote a book about your family, would you read it? Duh. The answer’s in the question.”

Then, Joy-Anna explained, “I’m going to read it just so I can like, yeah, I want to know what it’s about. I want to know what she has to say. Of course.”

In the comments section of Joy-Anna’s video, fans are praising her for being willing to listen to her sister’s story. Maybe Joy-Anna will publicly share her thoughts on the book when she finishes reading it.

As we reported, a fan recently commented on one of Joy-Anna’s Instagram posts and encouraged her to “be free.” In response, Joy-Anna confirmed that she is already “free” and that she loves her life.
