Judith Sheindlin is one of television’s most famous judges, though most people might know her better as “Judge Judy.” For years, she became a household name thanks to her eponymous courtroom series. News has come out that her son, Adam, is also getting a show of his own. In a recently released clip, Judy herself admitted her surprising thoughts about her son continuing in her footsteps.
Judge Judy’s Son Adam Levy Is Also Known For Appearing On Tribunal Justice
Sheindlin, better known as “Judge Judy,” is an American attorney and jurist known for her long-running namesake court show, Judge Judy. This series ran for 25 seasons, from 1996 to 2021. Following this, she was featured in the spin-off, Judy Justice, which premiered in 2021.
In her personal life, the famous judge has five children. Recently, news has come out concerning her son, Adam Levy, a former district attorney who also co-stars on Tribunal Justice.

News has come out that Levy will continue to follow in his mother’s footsteps by starring in his own namesake courtroom series, Adam’s Law. In a clip released for the series, Judge Judy herself admitted that she “wouldn’t have encouraged” her son to take on his own show ten or even five years ago.
As Sheindlin explained, “I wasn’t ready to give it up. And, quite frankly, he has the talent to beat me. I don’t like the idea of that.” Of course, this caused Levy to joke, “I’m right here, you know?”
Adam’s Law Will Make Its Debut This Upcoming September, With The Series Being Nationally Syndicated
He continued to share that the story will feature people with “real cases” who want “real justice.” According to People, a synopsis described Levy as “fierce, unfiltered and dedicated to making the justice system fair.” It was also shared that he had “dedicated his career to ferreting out the truth.”
As Judge Judy herself shared, “He understands the law, but he also became an academic with the law. He reads it, he remembers it. He has fabulous recall. And he’s got great TV eyes.”

Levy also teased that these were his mother’s eyes, as in he got them from her. This caused her to add that he has “the kind of entertaining personality that will endear him to the same viewing public that has embraced me for 30 years.” She continued, “I am handing this baton over to the right person. No. 1 program in daytime… I know it.”
The series is set to make its debut this upcoming fall, premiering on September 14. Adam’s Law will be nationally syndicated and interested viewers should check their local listings for airtimes.
