Kathy Griffin Went Makeup-Free, Outside Of A Little Lipstick, During A Sunny Los Angeles Outing
Griffin is an actress and comedian famous for her record number of stand-up comedy specials. In the world of reality television, she is also known for the series, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. Early last year, she also launched a YouTube channel, allowing her to share all sorts of stories with fans.
Recently, Griffin could be seen stepping out in Los Angeles. At the time, she showed off the results of a recent facelift.
The comedian ditched makeup for the Sunday stroll. She also hid her complexion with a large straw hat as she walked through a sunny neighborhood.
Griffin could be seen wearing a white KCRW T-shirt tucked into loose-fitting burgundy pants. She also wore gray Nike sneakers and could be seen with a crossbody bag. While mostly makeup-free, she was still wearing some slight lipstick.
Griffin Has Been Very Open About Her Procedures (& Feels Others Should Be Too)
This outing also comes out a year after Kathy underwent a third facelift. Griffin has been very open about her procedure, which cost around $218,000. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, she shared that it wasn’t an easy undertaking. As she shared, “It’s painful, and when people say it isn’t, they’re lying.”
Griffin also joked about the specific instructions she gave the surgeon before the procedure. As she shared, “They yanked my face. I said, ‘Give me a good yank.’ I said, ‘Doctor, I don’t want to see you in six months. Get in there and start pulling, yanking.’”

However, Griffin assured that she was happy with the results. As she noted, “I kind of am. I know, I’m shallow.”
Ultimately, Griffin thought it was important to be open about these procedures. Taking issue with celebs who get these treatments, only to credit their change in appearance to less invasive methods, she expressed, “I think it’s so funny, some of these folks, men and women, who obviously had work done – they say, ‘I went to a spa for a week,’ or they come up with some excuse.”
