Kesha burst onto the music scene in 2009 with the hit song “TiK Tok.” But a legal battle with producer Dr. Luke derailed her career for years. She filed a lawsuit against him in 2014, claiming years of sexual and physical abuse. He retaliated with a defamation suit, accusing her of making up allegations to get out of her contract.
The legal battle dragged on for years, during which she was unable to release new material. Dr. Luke and Kesha reached a confidential settlement in 2023. After fulfilling her contract obligations, she launched an independent label.
Kesha kicked off the Freedom Tour in May. The tour continues through August. The tour features special guests like Chromeo, Pitbull, and Real Housewives star Erika Jayne. The reality star, who had her share of legal battles, launched a DJ career in 2025 under the moniker DJ Pretty Mess.
Kesha Breaks Silence On Collecting Gross Items Fans Send Her
Kesha joined Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang on the Las Culturistas podcast this week. She shared a shocking item she collects from fans. “Do you know I collect teeth? I do,” she said.
“The teeth started when I became obsessed with my fans and then someone was like, ‘My child lost their teeth,’ and I was like, ‘Can I have them?’” Fans happily obliged and now it’s taking over her house. Kesha revealed that she keeps the collected teeth in jars in her home.
She also has a surprising hobby with the gross items. “I made a necklace, an earring and then a belt and then a crown,” she shared. Kesha said she does it because it “freaks out straight men.” She estimated that she’s collected over 1,000 teeth from fans.
