It was a short but passionate marriage between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian. Kim married the NBA star in 2011. The pair’s story was followed closely on Keeping up with the Kardashians. They dated for 10 months before tying the knot. However, the union didn’t last long. They opted to get a divorce just 72 days later making their time together shockingly short and just a blip in Kim’s relationship history.
The pair’s divorce was mostly due to Kim, saying that she felt pressured and even had doubts before the ceremony. Not only that, but at the time she said that they wanted different things in life. However, as previously reported, Kris has since talked about how the divorce was hard on him. Not only did he lose his wife, but he felt that everyone, everywhere hated him.
“I didn’t want to leave my home. You feel like the whole world hates you, but they don’t even know why. They don’t even know you at all. They just recognize your face, and they’re on you,” Kris reveals.
However, in recent years, Kris has stepped away from the spotlight and into a normal life.
Kris’ Current Situation
Despite his athletic career and his marriage to a huge reality TV star, Kris no longer finds the need to be on TV. Instead, he is the owner of several restaurant franchises. According to The Sun, he’s brining Daves Hot Chicken to the people of Minnesota.
“Super excited to bring Dave’s Hot Chicken to Minnesota with my family,” Kris says.
Not only does he have Dave’s franchises, but he also has various Five Guys and Crisp & Greens in the area.
It’s clear by looking at his social media accounts, his calling is truly in these franchises. He has multiple posts documenting his journey opening new locations.
While his chicken business might be cooking, his love life doesn’t seem to be. The star has kept a low dating profile ever since his divorce. As of now, there’s no documentation of him re-marrying and he doesn’t appear to be publcily dating anyone either. Despite his dating life being incredibly public at one point, Kris really has pulled back and is only focusing on what is important to him now.
