Kristen Doute’s BF Lists Why He Won’t Live With Her In California
It is very interesting that Luke Broderick can commit to having a baby with Kristen Doute but not move to the same state as her. The two have been in a long-distance relationship since the beginning. Yet, she wants to have a baby with Luke and now is the time as she is forty. Therefore, they are taking the proper steps to try and make her dream a reality. He has relocated temporarily so they can start trying but he is not in the headspace to live in California permanently.
In the latest episode of The Valley, Luke explained to Kristen why he would not be moving there anytime soon. According to Reality Tea, he does not care for a lot that California has to offer. She starts by telling him why she does not want to relocate just yet:
“California is important to me like I can’t leave California like tomorrow or next year or the year after, but I think giving it a couple, a couple of years.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum added that she has already moved three times in a “year and a half.” Therefore, she needed a breather before going through it again.
Luke noted that his whole life and all he had built was in Colorado. Additionally, California costs way too much for his liking:
“I mean, a 3-year-old’s preschool tuition at a private school is what I paid for college tuition.”
At this point, they are at an impasse with where they are going to live but Kristen Doute is determined to make her baby dreams happen. It does not seem to matter that Luke is not planning a move and neither is Kristen.
Jax Is Not On Board
From the beginning, Jax Taylor has questioned if Kristen Doute is in the right frame of mind to have a baby. This is as he is struggling in his own marriage to his wife and co-star, Brittany Cartwright.
“Now that we’re on this children conversation, I just want you to make sure that you’re ready for this situation. Are you mentally there to have a child right now? I just want you to do your research.”
Kristen knows her body and the time that she needs to conceive so she is not taking any chances.
