Kyle Richards Shares Tragic Way Best Friend Died
It has not been the easiest time for Kyle Richards. She has had ups and downs with both of her sisters, first Kim Richards and then Kathy Hilton. This played out on RHOBH and in the public eye which was very traumatic for Kyle. Then, over the last year, she and her husband, Mauricio Umansky have had a very tough time. Their struggles also played out on camera with Kyle’s co-stars constantly questioning what was going on. Infidelity rumors have constantly circled the couple, first with Mauricio and most recently with Kyle. It has been alleged that she is in a romance with country singer, Morgan Wade.
Amid all of this, Kyle’s best friend, Lorene Shea died by suicide. She shared this tragic news during the Wednesday, December 13th episode while she was having a therapy session. Kyle explained that she and Lorene grew up together and she really trusted Lorene more than anyone. So much so that she had put her in her will to control everything and take care of her children. According to Page Six, this is how Kyle detailed the incident: “May 1st, my very, very, very best friend in my whole life — I can’t even say the words — but she took her life on May 1st.”
Kyle Richards went on to add: “I don’t know what happened because she was so together. I mean even in my will, she was in charge of my children, my money, everything.” Additionally, the actress felt that they may have been “separated at birth” as they were so close and in tune with one another. Then, everything came crashing down.
No One Left
For Kyle Richards, losing Lorene and not having her marriage in a good place was really a struggle for the mother of four. Fortunately, she found Morgan Wade, who has become extremely supportive of her changed lifestyle. This includes intense early morning workouts and no more drinking. As seen on RHOBH, her co-stars, especially Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais do not know how to handle the new Kyle. They are so used to her being in the middle of the party so they think there must be more to this no-drinking, working-out persona.
