Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have a long, intense history. It’s no secret that he cheated on her and had bad experiences with drugs. Now, he’s opening up about just how much he messed up when it came to Khloe and the part drugs played in his actions. Keep reading to find out more about what Lamar says about the whole situation.

Khloe and Lamar had a quick engagement and a passionate marriage that ended in tragedy. While the pair were seemingly perfect for each other, Lamar couldn’t stay away from the drugs and cheating that would eventually lead to the end of his marriage to The Kardashians star. Now, he’s opening up about some of what happened during that tragic period in his life.
He reveals, according to Yahoo!, that his addiction is what caused him to cheat on Khloe initially. In fact, he says that that’s how you know the addict brain is not right.
“This is how you know the addict brain works [expletive] bananas. I’m married to [Khloé] and whatever. I’m [sic] know this girl, and girl’s like, ‘Let’s go up to Big Bear,’” he says. Apparently he planned a trip with another woman despite being married to Khloe Kardashian, who was supposedly the great love of his life.
Not only did he go to Big Bear with a random woman, but Khloe had no idea where he was. Of course, he admits to doing drugs while he’s there as well.
“It had to be [on] a summertime on a weekday, and I go to Big Bear. Wife can’t find me, looking for me, obviously,” he says. “I think I’m getting so high on the way up there … just sniffing and snorting. I don’t know the [expletive] if I was smoking … but the girl must have been scared to death [when] I must have dozed off.”
Filling Khloe In
Shockingly, the girl Lamar went off on the trip with is actually who filled Khloe in on what happened.
“First, she lets my wife know, obviously, what I’m doing,” Lamar says.
After that, he went back to the Kardashian/Jenner house where he was confronted by none other than Kris Jenner.
“[We] get back to the girl’s house, put some coke on the table, sniffing the line, and I just see a head come around the corner, and the lady says, ‘Lammy,’ and it was their mother, Kris [Jenner.] I remember I was [expletive] up,” he recalls.
Khloe ended up taking him to his first run in rehab. Lamar admits that not only did they care about him, but they had to protect their own brand.
“They were trying to protect me,” he says, and “the huge brand.”
Now, Lamar is grateful for what they family did for him. Of course, it wouldn’t be the last time Khloe would have to take care of him. In fact, he would later be found in 2015 in Vegas at a brothel, comatose after an overdose. Despite filing for divorce two years earlier, Khloe actually withdrew her divorce papers so that she could make medical decisions for him during this period.
“I’m grateful for that family for trying to take care of me as best as they can,” Lamar says.
