Candace Cameron Bure Making First Great American Family Christmas Movie
Just over four months ago, Candace Cameron Bure shocked the Hallmark world by defecting over to GAC, now called Great American Family. Although she has been shown in a Great American Christmas preview video, we now have news about her very first GAF movie.
Just a few days ago, Sleepy Kitty Paw, the source of all Christmas movie information, shared on Twitter some pretty big CCB news.
“Candace Cameron Bure’s first GAF movie will be shot next month in Tulsa, Okla. and features strong faith element. A CHRISTMAS…PRESENT, written by Rick Garman, is about Type-A mom who brings family to spend holidays with widowed brother and learns to embrace reason for the season.”
Therefore, what we know is that CCB’s first Great American Christmas holiday movie is called A Christmas…Present. We also know that Rick Garman (Christmas At Castle Hart, You Had Me At Aloha) wrote her new movie. Additionally, this movie, like CCB’s other holiday movies, has a strong faith-based theme.
She portrays a character that is a Type-A personality, and she is a mother. She is celebrating the holidays with her widowed brother. The core meaning of this movie is embracing the holidays.
They will start production in Tulsa, Oklahoma in September. Currently, no other stars have been attached to this upcoming movie.
Is CCB Part Of Great American Community App?
Great American Community’s new app includes such Great American Family stars as Jill Wagner, Trevor Donovan, and Danica McKellar. However, Candace Cameron Bure is not part of this project.

Only Third GAF Movie Made For Great American Christmas 2022
Sleepy Kitty Paw also added more information about Candace Cameron Bure’s new network. They pointed out that CCB’s holiday movie is only the third made this year.
“This is only 3rd GAF🎄movie, so if they’re really going to have ‘new movie every Saturday & Sunday,’ as advertised, starting in 2 months, better get moving.”
The other two movies include When Calls The Heart alum, Daniel Lissing’s movie with Merritt Patterson called Catering Christmas.
In addition, Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison have already filmed A Merry Christmas Wish. Originally, this was called The Christmas Farm.
According to Sleepy Kitty Paw’s Tumblr, she now lists two more new Great American Christmas movies. The first is Destined At Christmas, starring Shae Robins, Casey Elliott, Eve Elliott, and Weixin Le. Next, Someday At Christmas, which does not have any names attached.
