Loughlin became known to many playing Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis, later known as “Aunt Becky,” on the ABC sitcom Full House from 1988 to 1995. She later reprised the role on Fuller House from 2016 to 2018.
In recent years, Loughlin has also become known for her work with various Hallmark media. Since 2013, she has portrayed Abigail Stanton on When Calls the Heart. She has also played Jennifer Shannon in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Garage Sale Mystery film series.
Recently, Loughlin has gone through a lot in her personal and professional life. She was returned to many of her Hallmark projects following the controversy after her 2019 arrest. In addition, she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, divorced earlier this year, having been married since 1997.
Now both a single woman and an empty nester, Loughlin recently talked about the latest chapter in her life. Speaking with Us Weekly, she shared, “I would say that I’m feeling maybe even a bit more adventurous and playful in the way that I’m dressing now.”
While promoting her new collection with LOLA by Laurie Felt, Loughlin added, “I think I dress age appropriately and all of that. I’m not trying to be my daughter’s age.”

Loughlin added that she’s “definitely leaning into having some more fun and feeling a little bit sexier.” However, she expressed that this was in her own way, reflecting “what makes me feel confident.”
The actress has been switching up her looks as of late, feeling that this new phase has been “really exciting and fun.” She shared, “I think I’m at a place in my life where I feel comfortable enough to put something together that maybe feels a little bit edgier or a little out of my box.”
The Hallmark actress noted that it was various people in her life who inspired her to make a “transition” and have fun, like longtime friend Laurie Felt. She also noted that her Full House co-star and friend John Stamos convinced her to step out of her comfort zone during a recent outing. This was riding a roller-coaster at Disney World.
“I’m like, ‘No, no, no. I don’t do roller-coasters,’” Loughlin recalled, “And he’s like, ‘No, you do now.’ And he made me get on that roller-coaster. I was terrified. And I went on the roller-coaster and I had the best time. It was so exhilarating.”
