Love After Lockup Did Raneka Attend Asonta’s Funeral?
Raneka and Asonta appeared in this past season of Love During Lockup. She left her whole life behind to move to Georgia where Asonta was locked up. As he was supposed to be released, things got messed up and Raneka was completely thrown off. Luckily, he had an auntie who was willing to help. Only Raneka learned that this was not an actual auntie but his girlfriend. However, she was so excited to see him, she did not care who this person was. Their journey will make it to the upcoming season of Love After Lockup.
Midway through the episodes airing of LDL, Raneka shared that she and Asonta had parted ways but it seemed she remained in Georgia. Sadly, before the finale of LDL, as Asonta was seemingly playing Raneka and she was falling for it, he passed away. Asonta left behind two children and a pregnant girlfriend but Raneka felt that she loved him more than any woman. Over the weekend of September 9th, the Love After Lockup star was laid to rest but did his ex show up? Not only did Raneka show up but she took photos, as well.
Sporting a new hairstyle, the mother of two posed in front of the beautiful glass horse-drawn hearse, carrying Asonta’s casket. She shared the photos on her Instagram. Alongside the snap of her in the white ensemble, braids, sunnies, and peep-toe heels, she wrote: “My love for you is Unconditional and they have to respect that. Until we meet again #Juwhop #FlyHigh 1212 #Soul2Soul 🤞🏾❤️❤️ Juixe Mann 💯.” Raneka also posted a photo of herself in a shirt with Asonta’s face on it in her stories.

Despite the fact that the Love After Lockup couple broke up and he has a child on the way, Raneka was there to say goodbye. She also posted a reel from the entire day. This included the cemetery, posing for photos, eating, pictures of Asonta, and the pamphlet from the service.
Her followers were brokenhearted for her having to watch this. However, it is nice to know that she was welcomed with opened arms to say goodbye. As to whether this will be shown on television is yet to be seen.
