Former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star D. Smith has just announced that they are detransitioning from female to male. They have been living as a woman for over a decade, but are now opting to end that. Keep reading for more details on what they had to say.
D. Smith Announces Major Life Change
Fans of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta may remember D. Smith from a handful of appearances on the hit reality series. She is a Grammy winner and has worked with some of the hottest artists. Additionally, she has shared some of her hardest experiences in a documentary, and it was incredibly touching. D. knew from a very early age that she was transgender and eventually made her dreams come true.
On Thursday, September 17th, D. announced that she was detransitioning from female to male. Moreover, her pronouns would be he/him, and added a photo of himself as a male. It was very confusing for those who had only known D. as a woman, and it will likely take time to get used to seeing him as a man.
From his message, he does not want to forget his last decade as a woman. Moreover, the Love & Hip Hop star is only embracing it. He thanked everyone who has been there for him as he embarks on this new chapter and promised a full story time down the line.
After his followers read D.’s post, they did not shame him or make him feel bad about what he had done. Rather, they were extremely supportive and wanted him to know that he was worthy of love and that they would be there no matter what he needed.

D. Smith was praised for his honesty and courage, plus his bravery and honesty. He did not continue to live a life that did not suit him any longer, and although many could have shamed him, that did not happen. Rather, they asked for his fabulous wardrobe, which they wanted more than anything:
