Love Island USA star Sincere Rhea has been in a very sweet and fun coupling with Melanie Moreno. Unfortunately, as that is crumbling down, a disaster in his personal life is coming to light. The twenty-five-year old Texas resident had been evicted prior to entering the villa. Keep reading for more details as to what happened and why legal action was taken.
Sincere Rhea’s Time Is Taking A Turn
Ever since Sincere Rhea started on Love Island USA Season 8, he has been coupled up with Melanie Moreno. They appeared to have great chemistry and get along incredibly well, as if they had known each other forever. Then, Sincere pulled bombshell Kayda Bosse for a chat, which immediately turned Melanie off. She also saw a red flag when it was revealed that he had texted others while in a relationship. Melanie has been doing her best to brush him off and get to know other people, and many viewers are ready to vote her out of the villa.
As for Sincere, he is hurt by her actions, but he still seems to want to have fun. That makes sense given what he went through before he got to Fiji. It appears that he was served with eviction papers in June 2025. At the time, Sincere was living in Texas Tech University’s off-campus housing. This was located in Lubbock, where the rent ranged from $600 to $900 per month. However, Sincere did not show up to his court appearance in July 2025, and ultimately exited his apartment before any further action was taken.
There is no record as to whether or not the Love Island USA star ever paid what he owed. Hopefully, he has cleared his name so it won’t impact him in the future. Sincere is not the only one who came onto the show with his former life haunting him.
The Struggle Is Real
Sincere Rhea is not the only Love Island USA star to come on with previous drama. Sean Reifel was accused of being trained by his police department, only to quit after less than a year for the show. That has proven to be false, plus he has a son, who he has had to deal with a baby mama. Additionally, the show had to send home an OG cast member for racial slurs before Season 8 even began. Hopefully, no more skeletons come out of the closet, at least for now.
