Luke Bryan knows a thing or two about putting on a show. However, he recently got fans talking with a dance from one of his concert shows. Since then, fans have been trying to find new ways to describe it, including trying to come up with a name for it.
American Idol‘s Luke Bryan Is Currently Attached To Two Tours
Bryan is a country music singer and songwriter. Considered one of the world’s best-selling music artists, he has over 75 million records sold.
In the world of reality television, Bryan is also known for serving as a judge on American Idol. He joined the competition series in 2018. He’s also expected to return for the show’s upcoming 25th season.
Bryan is currently on his “Word On The Street Tour.” This runs from May 29 through September 26, 2026. He is also co-headlining the “Double Down Tour” dates with Jason Aldean.
Recently, however, he got fans talking with an interesting dance he performed during one of his shows. While onstage, he could be seen bending forward at the waist, dropping into a crouch, moving his hips, and writhing in an up-and-down motion.
A clip of the dance has since gone viral on social media. Since then, many fans have taken to trying to describe what they just watched.
A Few Fans Blame Things On The Wardrobe, While Others Think It Was All Just Part Of The Show
Some fans have even coined something of a name for the dance. As one fan wrote, “No song calls for the yoinkity sploink. Not a one.” The fan who shared a video of the dance appeared to like it, sharing, “I’m gonna have to use this one. Yoinkity sploink. So good.” Another shared, “You are so genius for this!?!?! Wow!!!”
Taking to the comments, fans have been sharing their own reactions. Some have suggested reasons behind the dance, though some did so with their tongue firmly in cheek. In particular, many took note of the American Idol star’s tight jeans.
