Mauricio & Kyle Have Never Pulled The Trigger
Although Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards split three years ago, they are still not legally separated. They have not done anything in the eyes of the law and do not intend to. Many times it appeared that they filed for divorce as he was dating other people. Mauricio was seen in other countries gallivanting with ladies while Kyle was allegedly romancing Morgan Wade. It was believed the former couple was waiting until their youngest daughter turned 18. That has come and gone, and they are still married.
Now, their 30th anniversary is upon them, and Mauricio reached out to Kyle to celebrate. She was away filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. However, he texted her to tell her that he loved her and to reminisce about the big day, given that it was 30 years, regardless of where they landed. Kyle read the text to her co-star, twice-divorced Vicki Gunvalson:
“It said, ‘Today’s always such a hard day,’ and ‘I love you.’ He said, ‘I don’t know how we got here.’ That’s what he said. I thought we were stronger than that, you know? I really had thought that.”
It is a hard text to read, and on that day, given that Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky did seem so in love. They shared three girls and raised Kyle’s daughter, Farrah, from her first marriage together. She was always supportive of his career and his dreams, which was incredible to see. In Season 4 of RHOBH, rumors floated that he had been unfaithful, but they denied them,
Unfortunately for the couple, Kyle wanted her own life. She was tired of being on his arm and always traveling for his real estate endeavors. Moreover, she met Morgan Wade, got sober, and started working out endlessly.
Vicki Takes It To The Next Level
Kyle Richards needed kindness and compassion in that moment, but what she got was Vicki Gunvalson, who told her she failed in her marriage. Vicki is against divorce, as she wished she had made things work with her second husband, Donn. That did not happen, so rather than be supportive of Kyle and lend a shoulder, she made it worse:
“You let your family down. You let your kids down. You’re showing them it’s okay to bail out when things get tough. It’s not okay… You guys were the epitome of staying together forever. You’re supposed to grow old together.”
Viewers who saw this were happy that Vicki finally saw how badly she treated Donn, but did not care for her attitude. Yet, this is typical Vicki, so maybe Kyle should have confided in someone else.
