Michael Strahan Shades Kelly Ripa, Says ‘Life’s Too Short’

TV Shows

Michael Strahan may have coyly shaded Kelly Ripa in his new interview. The Good Morning America host has been promoting his new skincare line for men. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kelly snubbed Michael in her new book, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories. While she doesn’t make any mention of him, she did talk about their situation in a new interview.

What did Kelly Ripa say?

Kelly Ripa’s cover story with People came out today. In the candid interview, she talks about her workplace situation with former co-hosts Michael Strahan and the late Regis Philbin. She confirmed that she doesn’t talk about Michael in her memoir because she didn’t want to use it to slam people in the industry.

However, she did speak out about their situation during the interview. While not outwardly naming Michael Strahan, Kelly reiterated that she likes to be respectful in the workplace. She also wants to make sure that everyone feels comfortable as well. It’s the most important thing to her.

“I’ve always gone out of my way to be the most welcoming because I know what it feels like to go into a workplace where you may feel like you’re not welcome,” Kelly said in her People cover story.

She’s still hurt by Michael’s sudden departure. The two co-hosted Live! together for four years. From there, Michael announced that he was leaving the show for GMA. Kelly needed some time to process this new information as she learned about it at the same time the fans did.

The two still don’t talk to this day. However, they still mention that infamous situation in television show history. In his new interview, Michael Strahan talked about his skincare line. He also shared his thoughts about anger in the workplace.

Micheal Strahan shares words of wisdom

The former NFL player shared his thoughts on those who hold grudges and get angry at their co-workers. He feels that there’s no time for that in the workplace. The host spoke to New Beauty about his new venture. Even though he was promoting his new brand, he seemingly shaded his former co-host.

“Life’s too short to be angry at work,” Michael Strahan said. “That’s a big part of what makes it all work.”

The Michael Strahan Brand is a five-step skincare routine that’s used day and night. He wanted to create a line that’s not only easy for men to use, but also makes them feel confident. Michael feels that it’s the most untapped market in the beauty industry.

He thinks his fans will be impressed with the ingredients and technology that’s used. Yet, it’s sold at CVS stores nationwide, which makes it affordable. What are your thoughts on Michael Strahan’s advice? Sound off below in the comment section.
