Moriah Plath Loves Fashion & Makeup – Childhood Disease Influence?

TLC fans know that Max Kallschmidt grew jealous and angry with his girl when he dated Ethan’s younger sister. Before they broke up, fans of the show slammed him for insisting that she stop wearing skimpy shorts. Many people loved the way she found the confidence to dress the way she did. Those who supported her always felt that her gorgeous hair, slim legs, and flat tummy made her look amazing. However, there seems to be a very good reason why she loved the attention and the other people looking at her with appreciation

Moriah Plath seems to still be single and she’s back at home in Georgia with her father. So, in a preview for the show, she opened up and chatted with him about her life. Spoilers already revealed that the Welcome to Plathville star asked him to baptize her. Actually, it seems that they have a close relationship. Moriah Plath Breaks Silence – Bullied For A Childhood Disease

The teaser for Welcome to Plathville revealed that other children bullied Barry’s second daughter. She explained, “When I was a little girl when I was 3 years old, I lost all my hair for several years. Completely, not even eyebrows or eyelashes. I was completely bald.” Barry seemed shocked that she could recall that. Anyway, she explained that it came back from time to time over the years.

Moriah Plath talked about being bullied and being so different. Even her siblings were nasty to her about it. Apparently, it was a slightly different kind of alopecia, and her hair just fell out, all at the same time. According to WebMD, there are four different kinds, but “Alopecia areata universalis is the loss of hair over your entire body.” Additionally, the website explains that it’s “an autoimmune disease.”

Welcome To PLathville Star Loves Fashion Because Of Her Childhood Disease

The emotional impact of looking so “different” made Barry’s daughter try and hide the differences by dressing up nicely. To this day, she still goes out here with her style and TLC fans noticed that. Actually, it seems the reason is that if she looked amazing in her clothing, it “was a good day.” Explaining further, she said, “If I had the right hat, the right dress if I had the right clothes on that made me look cuter, then I wouldn’t be teased as much.”

That explains why Moriah Plath always dresses so well. Emotionally, she talked about finding “comfort in fashion.” It might also explain why she took so long to talk about it. Sadly, she told her dad that she never wanted anyone to speak of those miserable childhood days. Perhaps, now that she finally broke her silence, she’ll become an advocate for those who suffer from alopecia.
