Ted Bundy claimed the lives of many victims throughout the 1970s. However, the stories of his victims have even recently been coming to light. Recently, the niece of one of his victims shared what he had done to target her aunt.
Ted Bundy Was Executed In Florida In 1989 After Receiving Two Death Sentences
Bundy was an infamous serial killer who kidnapped, raped, and killed dozens of young women from 1974 to 1978. In addition, he was a prolific burglar, breaking into homes where he would strangle and assault victims in their sleep.
In 1975, Bundy was arrested and jailed in Utah, later being recaptured in 1978 after multiple escapes. He received three death sentences and was ultimately executed by electric chair at Florida State Prison in 1989.
Recently, the family of one of Bundy’s final victims has broken their silence over their story. In particular, as noted by The U.S. Sun, Taura Stucki recently opened up about her aunt Laura Ann Aime, who had been killed by Bundy.
As the outlet noted, Bundy often targeted his victims by pretending to be injured, posing as an authority figure, and would especially prey on hitchhikers. However, Stucki revealed another method.
According to Stucki, a private investigator contacted her and sent over his files that revolved around Aime’s case. It went into how Bundy approached her aunt in school.
For starters, Bundy appeared to stalk Laura. As Stucki shared, “It seems that Ted Bundy actually stalked my aunt a few times before actually killing her. He approached her multiple times.”
Bundy also appeared to tell people that he and Laura were in a relationship. As Stucki continued, “These kids were throwing leaves down her shirt. He came up to her and put his arm around her and was like, ‘Leave my girlfriend alone.’ [Laura] looked at him and was like, ‘I’m not your girlfriend.’ [Laura] looked at him and was like, ‘I’m not your girlfriend.’”

Stucki highlighted how much this came as a surprise to her. She explained, “It seems that Ted Bundy actually stalked my aunt a few times before actually killing her. He approached her multiple times. So, I always knew that, but then to see it like he actually did stalk her is kind of crazy to me because most of his victims, it seems like he just picked them up right then.”
Aime was 17 years old when she disappeared in Lehi, around October 31, 1974, having left a Halloween party on her own just after midnight. Her remains were located two months later when hitchhikers found her nude body.
As the outlet noted, an autopsy later claimed that Laura had been severely beaten, enduring a skull fracture. Stucki also claimed that her grandfather was able to identify her by a scar she had previously sustained from barrel racing.
