Not Suitable for Work is raising the stakes as AJ (Ella Hunt) gets involved with her boss Bill (Jay Ellis) in this exclusive first look at an unexpected morning moment.
As fans saw in the most recent episodes, the colleagues kissed and admitted their feelings for one another, and in the sneak peek above, fans are getting a tease of how far they’re taking those feelings as Bill wakes up in AJ’s apartment, unaware he stayed the night. “What time is it?” he asks, startled.
“We’re at my place,” AJ says, adding, “it’s six-fifteen.” The information sends Bill spiraling a bit as he reveals it wasn’t his plan to stay overnight.
“Sorry. Within two seconds of cuddling, you fell asleep, and you looked so peaceful. I didn’t want to wake you,” AJ continues.
Disbelieving of what she’s saying, Bill exclaims, “I slept six hours. Who does that? I haven’t slept that long since my ACL surgery.”

The panic begins to set in even more when AJ tells Bill that Davis (Will Angus) lives across the hall. As fans know, Davis has a massive crush on AJ, so learning that Bill stayed the night could be catastrophic… Despite AJ not knowing about Davis’s crush, she still doesn’t want to get caught engaging in a problematic relationship.
And so, Bill books it out of the apartment, but not before he runs into Davis’s roommate, Josh (Jack Martin), who also has his own history with AJ. “See we have another early bird in the building?” Josh notes, acknowledging Bill.
“Yep,” Bill answers in a clipped way, eager to get out of the building with minimal blowback. But things aren’t that easy as Josh asks, “How do you know Abby?” referring to AJ’s roommate.
Bill’s answer is only two words, but it’s enough to make the puzzle pieces click. See the full scene unfold above, and let us know what you think Josh will do, now that he’s been armed with some seriously juicy information.
