‘On Patrol Live’ Is Series Leaving Peacock? Fans Weigh In

- Advertisment -

On Patrol: Live recently debuted its newest season. However, fans are concerned that they will see a big change in how they watch the show. In particular, many are wondering if the show is leaving Peacock.

On Patrol: Live Recently Premiered Its Fifth Season On July 10, 2026, But It’s Come With Expiration Warnings For Some Fans

On Patrol: Live is an American reality series that airs on Reelz. It follows camera crews as they go on ride-alongs with law enforcement officials.

The series recently debuted its fifth season on July 10, 2026, having wrapped up its fourth season the previous June. Since then, fans are starting to wonder about how they will be able to watch the series going forward.

Taking to Reddit, one fan wondered if the series is soon leaving Peacock. They claimed to have spoken with a “Peacock customer service agent” on their website. Sharing “an exact quote,” they were told, “‘I would like to inform you that On Patrol Live will be leaving Peacock on 9/7/26 due to streaming rights.’”

As the fan continued, “So, it sounds like Reelz is not renewing their streaming rights with Peacock, most likely, I would assume to push people to their new streaming platform Reelz+. I am still trying to get an answer about this directly from Reelz, but they do not seem to respond to messages.” However, they noted that Peacock and Reelz are simply in the process of negotiating a new deal.

This Isn’t The First Time Fans Were Concerned About The Series Leaving Peacock

In a later update, the fan expressed that they were hearing two different stories. As they shared, “I finally got a response from Peacock in the Facebook chat that I sent the other day, and this person said OPL is remaining on Peacock. So I honestly don’t know what the correct answer is. Got two different answers from two different people. Doesn’t seem like anybody there knows what’s going on. Guess we’ll find out on 9/7 whether OPL stays or goes. Hopefully it stays.”

For the time being, no official announcement claims that On Patrol: Live is leaving Peacock. However, its current contract is set to expire around September 7, 2026. Thanks to this, various streaming apps appear to have expiration warnings or “days left” notices in the interim.

Last year, there had been similar concern that the series would be leaving Peacock due to it becoming available on REELZPlus. However, the show’s official X account claimed, “No, we are not leaving Peacock. This is simply another way to watch. #OPLIve #REELZPlus.” While fans should wait for an official announcement, a post as recent as August 16 still listed Peacock as a possible way to stream the series.
