HGTV‘s Page Turner is encouraging her fans to embrace their self-confidence by doing the same.
In a Sunday, July 12, Instagram post, the Love It or List It star shared a montage of herself posing in a colorful, patterned swimsuit on the beach. “OOOOOWEEEEE!! I love being 53 (it’s not my bday – I’m an April) and … Free to just be,” she wrote. “Sun-kissed. Soul-fed. Loved-well. And unapologetically & joyfully … Me!!”
Turner continued, “I’ve learned to celebrate my spirit & my presence and that paradise isn’t a place… My paradise is peace and plenty, and peace & plenty is my real flex! Wherever you are today, make sure it’s somewhere your soul can rest, your laughter comes easy, and your life reflects what you prayed for.”
She concluded her message on an inspirational note, writing, “And if you’re blessed enough to find yourself on a beach… Wear the bikini. Take the pictures. Laugh TOO loud. Love your life out loud! We’ve earned it. No questions asked.”
Fans shared their love for Turner’s message and her swimsuit snaps in the post’s comments. “Honey check your typos…you meant to type 35 not 53!!!” one user praised. Another added, “You are GOALS!!! I need to up my fitness routine for my 53rd birthday in October.” Someone else gushed, “Love it! Great message for all women and being loved well is truly the cherry on top! Enjoy and well deserved.”
A different person posted, “Hot girl summer sis.” A separate commenter stated, “Girl you look 33. Giving everybody a run for their money.” Turner’s boyfriend, Mike Hill, also complimented the TV personality in the post’s comments, writing, “Yes!!! The summer just got hotter!!! Age is a mindset and your mind is set to being FINE!! #FITTYFifty.”
Turner made her HGTV debut on Flip or Flop Nashville, which ran for two seasons from 2018 to 2019. She went on to appear on shows such as Fix My Flip, Home Town Kickstart, and House Hunters: All Stars before taking over for Hilary Farr as the co-host of Love It or List It during season 20 last year.
She and David Visentin returned for Season 21 on June 23. Ahead of the show’s return, Turner teased in an interview with TV Insider that the new season kept her on her heels.
“On paper, it’s the regular stuff: limited space and low and tight budgets. But this season, I had hyper, uber, unbelievable, completely unexpected challenges that didn’t always involve money!” she said of Season 21’s challenges. “Every reno has a moment where you have to problem-solve on the spot. But I’m the ‘Queen of the Pivot,’ and my challenges are where vision meets execution, which is exactly where I thrive.”
Speaking of her partnership with Visentin, she shared, “David is a pro. Like, the pro. He’s a great real estate agent who knows exactly what our clients need, yes, but I mean, he’s also a pro in the ‘clap back’ department, too. I had to teach him that term, LOL. He’s so witty and quick.”
